Approach

A steady place to land

Therapy at Emovere is meant to feel like a sanctuary — a calm, grounded space where you can pause, exhale, and be met with empathy and respect.

Moving at your pace

Sessions unfold like gentle waves, guided by your readiness. There is no pressure to rush, perform, or share more than feels safe.

Honoring strength and softness

Your resilience is respected, and so is your need for rest, repair, and care — both can coexist here.

Trauma-informed and attuned

Work is grounded in understanding how stress and trauma live in the body and mind, with care taken to support regulation and emotional safety.

Collaborative

Therapy is shaped together, guided by your goals, values, and what feels most supportive in the moment.

Supporting forward movement

Whether through reflection, skill-building, or deeper trauma work, the focus is on helping you move through what you carry and toward greater ease, clarity, and resilience.

Occasionally, support comes with four legs.

Meet Curly

Therapy Dog In-Training & Chief Morale Officer

At Emovere, our approach centers on creating a therapeutic environment that feels steady, safe, and human. You may notice Curly, our therapy dog in-training, quietly present during some sessions. With his calm presence, gentle curiosity, and naturally steady temperament, Curly supports grounding, emotional safety, and quiet companionship—particularly for first responders and helping professionals carrying high levels of stress.

Curly is being trained to work alongside Dr. Salisbury to provide comfort and regulation support when helpful, offering a consistent, reassuring presence that helps create a sense of ease in the room. He is attentive, respectful, and remarkably intuitive, with a growing skill set that includes calm greetings, extended settles, and knowing when someone simply needs a moment.

When he’s not training, Curly can often be found playing ball and spending time with his other K-9 friends while continuing to learn new skills.
